In November of 2017 we will celebrate 10 years since we married in Geneva by renewing our vows in Zanzibar, Tanzania… and you are invited!

The celebration will take place at Sharazad Boutique Hotel in the village of Jambiani, on the southeast coast of Zanzibar. We stayed there already and were very happy! The hotel has two pools, one of them in the middle of the “villa” rooms we have reserved. The sand on the beach is white, the ocean is turquoise and we are confident you will love it!
The island of Zanzibar is a heavenly place located in the Indian Ocean. Its main city, Stonetown, has been a very interesting mix of cultures over the centuries. Its architecture, cuisine and spices stand particularly proud.
We will be celebrating in the southeast coast in a village called Jambiani. We have reserved all rooms at Sharazade Boutique Hotel in Jambiani from 20-22 Nov.
Jambiani is a small villages, so expect to be disconnected from high speed internet and have only very basic internet/telephone access for the duration of your stay.
If any of you plans to arrive early or leave late, we need to know ASAP to extend the reservation

Depending on your trip, you might have time to see more than just Zanzibar while you are in East Africa. Some suggestions would be:
– Do a Safari (Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti Reserve, Lake Manyara in the north, or Mikumi near Dar es Salaam)
– visit Dar es Salaam / Bagamoyo
– visit other interesting parts of the african continent: South Africa, Ethiopia, Madagascar, …
