Dear Family and Friends,
We are thrilled and honored that you will join us in November. It will be very special to be with you in Zanzibar.
During the last few weeks, we have spoken to or emailed most of you separately. Now, we would like to give you an overview of our 10-year celebration. We will be a party of 16.
Our journey together starts on Sunday 19th of November at the lobby of Kisiwa House at 5:15 pm sharp. Some of you will arrive a few days before and have different schedule and plans, but we would like you to meet us at Kisiwa House. From then on, here’s what we propose:
19.11.17 Sunday (Stone Town)
- 5:15 pm – Meetup at Kisiwa House
- 5:30 pm – Departure from Kisiwa House to Emerson on Hurumzi for a welcome drink and a 3-course authentic Zanzibari Dinner (30USD p/p)
20.11.17 Monday (Stone Town to Jambiani)
- 10:00 am – Morning Walking tour of Stone Town (optional)
- 2:00 pm – Departure for Jambiani
- 7:00 pm – Welcome drinks at Sharazad boutique hotel
21.11.17 Tuesday (CELEBRATION DAY, Jambiani)
- Lazy morning or boat trip or spice farm tour (optional)
- 5:00 pm – Vow renewal ceremony
- from 7:00 pm until late – Dinner and music
22.11.17 Wednesday (Jambiani to Stone Town for some)
- Early transfer from Jambiani to Zanzibar Airport for those who will do the Mikumi Safari and need to go to Dar es Salaam

MIKUMI NATIONAL PARK SAFARI
A few of you will leave Jambiani early on Wednesday morning to do a safari in the Mikumi and Udzungwa Mountains National Parks before flying back home. Our contact to the Angalia Tented Camp has allowed us to get a reduced price for a 3-day tour. Please see the proposed itinerary in the attached PDF. The reduced prices we negotiated are:
As you can see, the price per person for the Safari increases to $700 USD after 8 pax because a second LandCruiser is needed. It is very important that you confirm your Safari trip by Wednesday Oct. 11th. If you don’t confirm, then we will assume you are not going At present we have reserved 7 PAX (Maryse, Gael, Leila, Dimi, Yann, Elmar, Karin).

KISIWA HOUSE RESERVATION (Hotel in Stone Town)
For the night of Sunday (19 Nov.) we have blocked and paid for 5 rooms at Kisiwa house:

For those of you who would like to book a room at Kisiwa from an earlier date, please contact the hotel directly, ideally soon and let them know (they already have your name, just mention us).
The reduced price per room
We managed to get a reduced price of 128 USD for the night of the 19th which we have paid already to secure the reservation. We kindly request that you refund this to us in cash. If you do not want to take this reservation, please let us know ASAP because we only have this week before cancelation charges apply.
