Dear Family

we would like to invite you to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary and vow renewal in Zanzibar, Tanzania on November 19-21, 2017.

We are delighted that some of you have already booked your flights! Those who haven’t, you know that we would love to have you come to Tanzania.

Ten years ago, in August of 2007, we held a very private wedding in Geneva with only two witnesses… now that we wish to renew our vows, having you present will be very special for us.

In the next weeks we will put up a website with information about Tanzania and the event. For now, we have a tentative schedule which includes visiting Dar es Salaam and celebrating in Zanzibar.

Friday Nov. 17 Late arrival on Swiss flight in Dar es Salaam
Saturay 18 City tour Dar es Salaam
Sunday 19 Early departure to Zanzibar (9:30 am Ferry). 1 night in Stonetown.
Monday 20 Transfer celebration venue & hotel on the east coast in Paje/Jambiani (2 nights)
Tuesday 21 Vow renewal ceremony and dinner
Wednesday 22 Return to Dar es Salaam
Saturday 25 Return to USA/Canada

Tentatively we could organize a 2-day safari upon return to Dar es Salaam (4.5 hour drive to Mikumi National Park) or a day trip to the nearby historical slave town of Bagamoyo.

We are yet to find out our other guests’ schedule, but for now this is what we propose, please let us know if you have any other wishes or ideas
